Children's Liturgy of the Word (CLW) is offered most weekends throughout the year at the 9:30 AM Mass. Children in kindergarten through fourth grade are invited to leave the nave of the church with three adult ministers right before the First Reading, and the children return to their seats right after the Prayer of the Faithful. CLW is a way for children to listen to the readings in a kid-friendly format, and to have a homily delivered just for them. The children do not miss out on a thing: while the main church hears the week's readings, so do the children; while the main church hears a homily, so do the children; while the main church prays the Profession of Faith, so do the children; and while the main church prays the Prayer of the Faithful, so do the children!
If you are interested in leading CLW (or even if you would like to volunteer once a month!), please contact Jacquelyne Fagan at [email protected].
