Eucharistic Procession

June 11 is the Feast of Corpus Christi and the kickoff of the Parish Phase of the Eucharistic Revival!

Please join us for this first-ever, joint-parish Eucharistic Procession through the heart of Carmel. It is sure to be an amazing public witness to our Faith!

Culminates at the Carter Green:

1 Hour Eucharistic Adoration
 

Below are a few important things to note for the procession that may be of help for you:

• The Procession route is approximately 3.5 miles (approx. 90 min walk)

• Bring your own seating (lawn chairs) to Mass & to the Carter Green

• We will have 4 charter buses to assist with shuttling people back to OLMC after Benediction at the Carter Green.  However, with 1500 people attending, we encourage some to consider the following for the return trip:
  • pre-park a vehicle at “The Center” Public Parking earlier in the day
  • plan to utilize a rideshare service
  • walk the Monon 

• Pre-place seating down at the Carter Green earlier in the day, if you’d like.

• Bring water, sunscreen, & comfortable shoes!

• First Communicants are invited to wear their dress/suit (with comfortable shoes for the walk)

The procession will begin at Our Lady of Mount Carmel, processing on the streets with Carmel police escort. We will then process through Clay Terrace Blvd and down Rangeline Rd (South). The procession will culminate with one hour of Eucharistic Adoration at the Carter Green (next to the Palladium) with music and a rosary.
