Guidelines for Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration Chapel Conduct So that all may adore our Lord without distraction...
Because the Eucharist is exposed, genuflect on your right knee upon entering the Lord’s presence. (If unable to genuflect, please reverently bow.)
Be mindful of proper respectful attire.
Only greet fellow adorers with a smile or quiet hello, then spend your hour in reverent silence.
No spontaneous, unscheduled events or sermonizing is allowed (unless approved by the pastor).
Never eat, drink, or chew gum in the chapel.
No playing of music or the use of speakers. Cell phones should be silenced.
Do not leave items in the chapel.
For Your Safety: If you are attending an hour during the night (10 p.m. - 6 a.m.), please do not let anyone waiting outside without a key card in or interact with them. Remain in your car or inside the building and call 911 for an officer to come speak to them.
In Case of Inclement Weather
Tornado/Severe Storm Sirens Ring
There is blessed cover in a box on a table inside the chapel. You may cover the Blessed Sacrament and seek shelter in the basement of the church.
Snow/Ice Winter Storm
If an adorer doesn’t show and the weather requires you to return home, you may cover the Blessed Sacrament.
If you arrive and the Blessed Sacrament is covered, you should uncover it and begin your time of adoration.
